BITF – Rules & Regulations

1. Schools, colleges and institutions may participate in more than one event

 

2. Each participant is permitted to perform in only one competition and cannot participate in multiple events.

 

3. The decision of the judges shall be final and binding in all matters related to evaluation, scoring and results.

 

4. Parents/guardians accompanying participants, who are not traveling through the official BITF travel package, must obtain an Event Access Pass at the venue.

 

5. Participants must strictly adhere to the event schedule and reporting time.

 

6. Performance duration must strictly follow the time limit specified for each category.

 

7. Exceeding the allotted performance time may lead to negative marking, performance cut-off or disqualification.

(The time limit does not include entry, setup and exit from the stage.)

 

8. Music tracks, props and costumes and required makeup must be arranged by the participants themselves.

 

9. All required music tracks must be saved in the name of the participant’s school/college/institute and submitted in MP3 format. This includes karaoke tracks for the music competition, background music for the fashion show and audio tracks for dance performances. 10. For instrumental performances, basic instruments for Indian and Western bands—such as drums, keyboard, and tabla—will be provided by the organisers. Any additional or specialized instruments must be brought by the participants themselves.

 

11. Obscene content, inappropriate lyrics or offensive gestures are strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in immediate disqualification.

 

12. Props or materials that may damage the stage, venue or cause safety hazards are not allowed.

 

13. Participants must maintain discipline and decorum at the venue. Any misconduct may lead to disqualification of the individual or institution.

 

14. The organizing committee reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, rules or performance order if required for smooth execution.

 

15. Participants must not use, display or depict any national flag or country-specific identity in any form. As BITF is an international platform, any violation of this guideline may lead to disqualification.

 

16. The school, college or institute winning the maximum number of awards across all categories will be eligible for a cash prize of up to ₹2,00,000 along with a Special Institutional Excellence Award.
